Assignment:

Create brand elements and packaging for a craft brewery/cidery. Since you are doing three separate can designs, a word about the design system is in order. A design system needs to exist, but not be as obvious as in other package design; each flavor of beer must be able to stand on its own with consumers. However, people will often purchase one beer because they like another from the same brewery, and the designs need to have a system in order for consumers to make the connection. You will also note that each set of beer flavors follows a theme, thus a natural connection from beer to beer. This is a very elaborate, exhaustive, technical, and research-intensive project, as you can see from the requirements above. Research your products, study professional designs, develop your system, do your sketches, critique, render the designs, critique again, print and build the packaging.
